This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes permitted and prohibited uses of the website and services provided by The Message Center (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Company’s Terms of Service and any applicable written service agreement.

Clients may use the website and Services solely for lawful, legitimate, and authorized business purposes in accordance with the Terms of Service, applicable service agreements, Client Instructions, and all applicable laws and regulations. Use of the Services must remain within the scope, configuration, and limitations agreed upon during onboarding or otherwise authorized in writing.

The website and Services may not be used to engage in, support, facilitate, or transmit any activity that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, disruptive, or otherwise harmful. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Clients may not bypass service limitations, safeguards, or usage restrictions; manipulate workflows, routing, or delivery methods outside approved configurations; or otherwise use the Services in a manner inconsistent with Client Instructions or the agreed service scope or configuration.
4. Responsibility for Content and Instructions
Clients are solely responsible for the content of communications submitted to or handled through the Services, the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Client Instructions, and ensuring that their use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and industry requirements. The Company does not monitor, review, or evaluate communications for legality, accuracy, or appropriateness except as necessary to perform the Services in an administrative capacity.
5. Enforcement and Remedies
The Company reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Policy. If misuse is identified or reasonably suspected, the Company may, at its discretion and without prior notice, restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Services in accordance with the Terms of Service, or take other appropriate action to protect the Company, Clients, third parties, or systems.
6. Relationship to Other Policies
This Acceptable Use Policy should be read in conjunction with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Billing & Payment Policy, Service Scope & Limits Policy, and Message Handling Disclaimer. In the event of a conflict, the applicable written service agreement will govern.
